Hi, I’m Dr. Dan. I’m a compassionate chiropractor in SE Portland, Oregon. I grew up in a military family and consider myself a ‘child of America. I have lived in Portland for almost ten years now! I attended BYU – Hawaii and Portland State, where I studied Biology. While at Portland State, I had a slip and fall injury at work and saw my first chiropractor. I was hooked from the first adjustment!

During my last year at Portland State, I worked for a chiropractic office in West Linn as a chiropractic assistant, and my love for chiropractic grew. I then attended the University of Western States, graduating in 2020. It was during my last year of UWS that I made a move out of the closet and started my faith deconstruction process.

My favorite group of patients are those with chronic pain. I have suffered from migraines my whole life, and I love figuring out what goes into each patient’s “migraine recipe .”Besides headaches, I enjoy working with patients who experience fatigue, vertigo, and other debilitating symptoms.

When I am not working, I am usually cooking or baking. Food is a passion, and I recharge in the kitchen. I’m also an outdoors fan, and you can often find me around a water source. I grew up white water rafting in central Oregon and still go when I get the chance! I also love a quiet night with my boyfriend, Erik, and our rescue fur baby, Cosmo.
